Born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and currently residing in New Jersey, I am an artist with a strong passion for ink and pencil drawings, digital art and street art. The experience of living through a war at a young age made me hyper-aware of the dark side of human nature. And at the same time, it's made me more appreciative of the beauty and magic of life.
Using tribal and psychedelic motifs, my drawings seek to capture a moment in the constant change of life. Inspiration for intricate patterns and bold colors comes from the arts and architecture encountered during my travels through Asia and South America. As well as the knowledge of ancient civilizations like Ancient Egypt. Societies which imaginatively celebrated the connection between mankind and the cosmos.
My drawings have been exhibited at galleries in New York and California. I’ve had the pleasure of creating art for clients such as Adobe, Rip Curl, Winsor & Newton. And my works have been featured in Huffington Post, Super Paper and INDIE magazine, among others.
