Born & raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia, I have lived in New York City area since arriving as a war refugee in 1994 (with the exception of 2011 and part of 2013, which I spent in Buenos Aires). My primary medium is Indian inks of Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Pens (and Micron Pigma pens) on paper. I am intrigued by the concept of the invisible and complex geometric systems that permeate through all of nature, and I draw inspiration from patterns, designs and colors that appear in architecture, clothes and other art forms throughout different cultures.
I hold BFA in Graphic Design from New York Institute of Technology, and have complted silkscreen, drawing & painting classes at the School of Visual Arts. I was also a New York Cares Mural Artist for a public school in NYC.
