I was born & raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and have lived in New York City area since arriving as a war refugee in 1994, with the exception of 2011 which I spent in Buenos Aires. Colorfully rich Indian inks of Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Pens on paper is my favorite and most often used medium. I am intrigued by the concept of the invisible and complex geometric systems that permeate through all of nature. Having lived in two different parts of the world, and having traveled rest of the world extensively, I draw inspiration from places that reflect the invisible patterns that stretch beyond the material world, and can be seen everywhere from traditional Buddhist and Native American arts to ancient Islamic and Indian architecture. My intent is to capture the moment and reflect the life form that's beneath the surface, and reflect that idea of the infinite and the unknown. One day, if my dream is to come true, I will illustrate a cover for Village Voice. But in the meantime, I'm looking to continue creating vibrant illustrations and working on exciting artful projects - album and book covers, posters, editorials, portraits, etc. Let's connect, Email me >
